👨‍🎓 Who is this course for: for those who have started on the path of a Steam practitioner or is interested in doing so.
🙌 What will we do?

This course offers an in-depth exploration of communal Steam healing, focusing on group dynamics and safety. You’ll learn how to create a supportive, balanced environment and conduct sessions with care.

Day 1: Introduction to the structure and flow of a communal Steam session.

Day 2: Guiding principles, focusing on group dynamics, safety, and sensitivity.

Day 3: Working with your own state and balancing the energy of the group.

Day 4: Practical session, with students in groups of three guiding a session, followed by structured reflection - supervision.

By the end of the course, you will have the information on how to conduct a communal Steam healing session safely and gain insights into group dynamics that can be applied to other holistic healing modalities in a communal setting.

Steamology Institute – an international non-profit organization dedicated to studying and teaching healing practices in the context of steam.

We explore, teach, and develop projects of collaborative practice and support the dialogue between modern and traditional steam cultures. Our work is aimed at practitioners, communities, and retreat centers.

💲 Cost

For practitioners committed to joining our team as assistants, we offer special conditions: a €250 payment and 5 assistant shifts within one month after the course.

Participation fee:
For the first 3 participants — €500, for the next 5 participants — €600.

*Light mid-day snack is included in the price, accommodation is not included

**there will be a different fee and a separate program for participants retaking the course. Installment payment is possible if needed.

🏚 Accommodation

  • If you are coming from far away, participants can cooperate and share housing
  • You can always stay right on-site at the steam center at Quinta dos Machados — €284–417 / 3 nights (breakfast included)

There is an option to order food from the restaurant at the workshop location.
